Once again, I am amused. There isn't anything funnier than life
itself. Just the other day, I was listening to a "nut" trying to
convince me that he was spiritual. He was spiritual all right. His
head was up in the sky but his feet were not on the ground. He was
full of hot air. He reminded me of the "yuppie puppies" that go
around talking spiritual lingo but are hedonistic as can be. You know
the crowd, "what's your sign?. . . have you been to Nepal?..."
When idiocy has the face of brilliance you've come in contact with
the ultimate depth of stupidity.
One guy told me the girl he met in Marin County was a "high
being," a very high being. And to top it off, her name was Isis! Can
you believe it, Isis? Everyone with a brain knows that men have two
heads and this guy was thinking with the lower one. I don't know what
the gal's real name was before he changed it, but I'm certain she
wasn't Isis in his mind, the day after the night before.
It amazes me how the vast majority of people claiming to be part
of the new age movement are doing the same thing to spirituality as
their parents did to religion. Namely, screwing it up. On one side of
the coin they want the alternative view, the alternative method, the
alternative lifestyle, etc. Yet, the same people are just as caught
up with giving too much credence to degrees, certificates, and other
accolades rather than innate talent - talent to get the job done.
What's the first commandment? Isn't it something like the Lord will
not have any graven images between him and us?
Holy Writ tells us that a man's gift makes room for him. In other
words, your soul doesn't give a damn about degrees and certificates
anymore than it does about bible tracts. It concerns itself only with
providing the awareness necessary to know the sober minded truth that
you have been thinking and acting like an idiot. And when it isn't
bugging you then your conscience is clear. Of course, when it is
bugging you, you've heard the truth but you wish you didn't because
it burns like hell.
Spirituality isn't for the fools that like to talk the talk
without first walking the walk.
Common sense will reveal the truth that one doesn't learn through
hindsight when only insight will do. And insight isn't possible for
the lame brain who thinks the intellectual path is akin to the actual
reality of being sober minded and amused when it comes to the truth.
Saying you are spiritual and being spiritual are as different as
night and day. You can say you are spiritual but it doesn't make it
so.
How many millions say they are Christians and yet vote for the
death penalty? Let's get real! If you are a Christian then you love
to think like Christ. Jesus demonstrated that kind of thinking.
Do you really think the crucified Jesus would want His brethren to
vote for the death penalty? Believe it or not, many of the "so
called" Christians would justify it and say, yes! It amazes me how
you can be a Christian and desire an "eye for an eye" revenge game
when your Lord and Savior openly asked that you "turn the other
cheek."
It absolutely amazes me how many Christians can justify and make
excuses. No wonder why a lot of non-Christians think the "born again"
crowd are fanatical "Jesus freaks."
Hypocrisy is hypocrisy regardless of how much it is disguised.
Only in this world can you be so stupid that you have convinced
people you're smart. If God's people weren't truly like sheep going
to slaughter, the wolves in sheep's clothing would be seen for what
they are.
You are spiritual when you recognize that you are a spirit and
begin thinking in such a divine way that you are consciously working
in consciousness. You think in terms of forming thought and filling
in the "thought forms" with your higher emotions. All thought forms
are outlines of consciousness until you fill them in with your
feelings for self satisfaction.
Your emotions are different states of mind. When you are devoted
in being conscious, you work in consciousness. You don't care about
getting caught up with trivial pursuits of people, places and
conditions. You know better. There are no ends to opinions. Besides,
it isn't necessary to fight outside when it is not a war of flesh and
blood but a battle for control of the mind.
Anybody can search for God but not everyone can sit down and be
still long enough to find that God is within them, as them. People
everywhere are spinning in circles going nowhere, around and around
they go, until they drop dead because they exhaust themselves in a
fabled search.
You would be surprised at how many people are sent to school where
pencils are passed out and they eat the erasers instead of using them
to get rid of the past. The reason the past is the past is because it
is over with. And even though it is over with there are millions of
people hell bent on keeping it going.
People are comfortable with the lie and uncomfortable with the
truth. Yet, it is the truth we know that sets us into our freedom to
experience the heaven of ourselves while embodied upon the earth.
On my radio show, I received a call from a lady who told me she
was a healer. She informed me that she was Reiki Master or something
like that. I was flabbergasted because she was a healer but wanted me
to tell her where she was at and what was her next step. Again, she
went to school, paid good money, walked away with a certificate but
can't heal herself of the spiritual blindness that accompanies
ignorance. Amusing, isn't it? No wonder more people than not are
going to hell in a hand basket but know it not because they lack the
essential ingredient of the soul; namely, psychic awareness,
awareness to know better than they do.
When you are not aware of being aware of the truth - you are in
trouble beyond belief. Remember, Humpty-Dumpty! The egghead has a
great fall. So great, in fact, that all the king's horses and all the
king's men couldn't put Humpty back together again. It is foolish to
think that God is impressed by degrees, certificates and honors. The
only thing God is impressed with is you, His creation within His
creature. Holy Writ makes it clear. What man thinks is wisdom, God
thinks is foolishness.
God is Spirit. Spirit is the life of consciousness. Those devoted
in thinking in the divine way of forming consciousness into thought
for the well being of prosperity on a financial, mental, spiritual
and physical level of reality for others, as well as themselves, are
called in Scripture, "Sons of God." Those that think the thoughts
created by the people in the world are called "sons of man." The
first group are fathered by the universal renown while the second are
fathered by their dead ancestry.
