Reincarnation, The Untrue
Fact
By Anne Savino
Rev. William Duby has taught a class at the
Spiritual Rights Foundation called, "Reincarnation, The Untrue Fact."
In this class he presented his realizations about the nature of
reincarnation.
Why is he calling it the untrue fact? This phrase was quoted by
Rev. William Duby. The meaning of this phrase covers all bases
regarding the different beliefs people have about reincarnation. For
those who believe that as spirits we take body after body until we
reach a state of perfection, then the fact portion of this statement
applies. It is a fact that once a spirit loses its body, unless it
has formed a spiritual body while on earth that is attuned to the
higher levels of the astral planes, then that spirit will remain
earthbound and be caught up in the lifestream of another body. The
higher levels of the astral planes correspond to having a more
neutral or impersonal outlook on life and they can be identified
through the higher emotions, such as amusement, joy and enthusiasm.
If you consistently maintain the attitude necessary to have a bright
outlook on life, you will have the power of mind to pull yourself out
of slumps &emdash; to turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones
&emdash; then you are building a spiritual body that stores this type
of information so that when you no longer have need of a physical
body you will ascend to a like state of mind in the spirit world.
Those who entertain negative thinking and refuse to destroy the
illusion of limitation in their life are not building any spiritual
body at all, and at death they must remain earthbound, becoming part
of the gravitational pull of the earth. After they drop the body they
will be missing the information on how to ascend to a higher level of
awareness since they didn't concern themselves with the information
while embodied. They will remain earthbound because they are still
entertaining the inherited beliefs of the their ancestry.
A simple example of this is if someone flunks first grade you
wouldn't expect them to enter the second grade. You must learn to
crawl before you can walk. The ABC's of this world and the ABC's of
the spiritual world are diametrically opposed.
Earthbound spirits reincarnate as the procreative consciousness
(the animalistic instincts - desire nature) of the physical bodies.
They don't get another body all their own, but come back in the
bodies of other people as the inherent intelligence of a particular
body type. They remain there until the beliefs they held are
corrected by the resident spirit of the body in which they dwell. If
those beliefs are, for example, a belief in poverty and the resident
spirit decides that he will break through that belief and prosper,
then the vibration raises in that body and the reincarnating spirit
is cast out and must find another body of the same type (and or
unsuspecting soul). Everyone needs a home to live in, including
disincarnate spirits.
Therefore, reincarnation is a fact for those who are mired in
worldly thinking. Nothing is useless in the universe and they have a
use in keeping bodies operating as the inherent intelligence of the
body.
What is untrue about reincarnation, getting back to the original
phrase, is that as a spirit we are made in the image and likeness of
the Supreme Being, like rays of sunlight emanating from the sun. When
we look at our existence from the view of the divine providence, we
see that we are simply expressions of the Supreme Being and that
there is only His life and we come alive to His perfect
understanding. With this in mind, seeing from His view, we realize
the perfection of spirit and we are attuned accordingly.
When we recognize His presence in our life we come alive like
never before. As if we've been reborn and we find ourselves seeing
and feeling things differently, and that makes all the difference in
the world. We operate, from that point onward, from the higher self
image rather than the lower self image. I guess you could say that
we've found ourselves. The law of grace has spoken.
Jesus showed that the Spirit of God dwelled in Him and
overshadowed everything, including death. The Fathering Spirit of
Love and Truth cojoined as divine goodness did it for Him, as Him, in
one lifetime for there is only One Life to begin with. This is the
incarnation of soul memory within us all. It's called the grace of
the Living God. When we come alive to it we seize the opportunity to
accept this glorious reality as our own. It is the ultimate
experience of faith put into action.
