Prosperity Doesn't Mean Only Money

What are some of the ideas or pictures you hold in mind when you think about prosperity? Does it mean you are prosperous if you hold a college degree, obtain a new career, or have enough money to pay the bills? More times than not we think we are prosperous when we have all the money we need to supply us with material possessions and we are not prosperous when our bank account is low. This allows money to dictate our lives and leaves us with a limited view of prosperity.
There are four keys to prosperity. The mental, spiritual, financial and physical. Most people know this but tend only to the money key. God wants us to experience the “total picture of prosperity” or a balance of all four keys.
For many years, more than I care to mention, I never thought of myself as a prosperous individual. I had enough money to pay the bills but I was dissatisfied on a lot of levels. My health was in jeopardy and my family life seemed to be full of lots of emotional upheavals. I am mentioning this because I think there a lot of people out there who may be experiencing the same thing . My life was out of balance and I was yearning for a change.
It wasn’t until I began listening to a radio show called Total Prosperity aired on 1450 AM, sponsored by the Spiritual Rights Foundation that things began to change for me. They were talking about “spirit“ and “energy”, things I never tuned into before. I never received this type of spiritual education before and something inside urged me to listen. Many positive changes have taken place with my health, mentally, financially and physically. My income has steadily increased, and I have better physical health. The anxiety attacks I used to have completely disappeared plus I never need to take sick days off from work anymore. The relationships I have with the people around me are positive and supportive. A major healing took place between me and my children and there is more respect for ourselves and each other. Lately many changes have taken place especially in areas of communication. I am much more outspoken where as before I kept quiet a lot of the time. These are a small handful of blessings from God.
Usually when we are not prospering on whatever level it may be its because we are trying to uphold a lifestyle that was never intended to prosper anyone. In other words, the way you were told to behave in relationships, how you were shown to handle your finances, what you were told about God when you were growing up and the inadequate information of how to have a rapport with your body. These are all things that may be currently keeping you from experiencing the lifestyle you truly want.
