'Tis
the Season to be Jolly
Editorial
By Wendy J. Menara
What an abundant time of year.
No matter where on the planet you live right now; the snowy hills of Vermont
or the arid deserts of Arizona, we are all being affected by the seasonal
changes. Externally, in the solar system, the earth is rotating on its
axis causing shorter days. Internally, for us, the cosmic and earth energies
are shifting, causing us to reflect and go within.
The holidays are holy days, indeed! It is a time where we have the opportunity
to reflect on the things that didn't work for us and let them go. It is
a time to reflect on that which we did receive and give thanks. It is
a time to reflect on what we want to experience in our lives and prepare
for the manifestation. It is a time to go within and reflect on what is
important in our lives.
"The spiritual life of people is our most important product",
this is a quote from Rev. William H. Duby, the founder of the Spiritual
Rights Foundation, Inc. What does it mean to be a spirit in a body? It
means experiencing abundance in every aspect of your life; spiritual awareness,
physical well-being, financial abundance, mental and emotional clarity.
This time of year allows for us to reflect on all these aspects of our
lives. In the pages you are about to read, you will be given food for
thought on all these areas of your life.
You will find a fascinating article that offers very specific information
about the inner meaning of the holidays. The symbology of Christmas will
be exposed. There are predictions for 2005 and articles to show you how
to have successful New Years resolutions. There are also regularly featured
articles, such as Astrology and now, Ask the Pet Psychic.
The American Spirit Newspaper is a love offering for the American
People", a newspaper of spiritual awareness, and that, if read, re-read
and reflected upon will give you the spiritual nourishment necessary to
have a wonderful holiday season and a blessed and prosperous New Year.
May the words within the pages of this newspaper stimulate your mind to
action, your body to activity and your spirit to animate. Have A blessed
holiday season.
