The Bay Area Pet Psychic
By Ann Savino
Welcome
to our new animal communication column in the American Spirit Newspaper.
We are providing this forum for those of you who may have questions and
want some psychic insight into what's going on at the energy level with
your pet. Health and behavioral issues can arise when there are blocks
to the natural flow of an animal's energy. By clearing these blocks, the
natural state of health can be restored. Also interesting to explore is
the dynamics of your relationship with your pet. Our pets are some of
the closest companions we have in our lives. Take this opportunity to
ask for insight that can help improve the quality of your life with your
pet.

1. Why
does my Chihuahua have seizures?
The picture I see around this is the dog trying to shake off energy out
of her space, like a dog would shake the water off of its body after a
bath. I see some intense emotional pain that you have been dealing with
for a long time and this is the energy that is affecting your pet. I keep
seeing a picture of you shaking your head, trying to make sense of this
situation but it just doesn't make sense. Somebody else's problem keeps
getting pushed your way and you keep trying to understand it and solve
it, but there is really no solution to it because it is not your problem.
Basically it looks like you have been living with an abusive situation
in a state of siege. I see this affecting your dog because it is affected
by your energy. I see you carry this energy around in your head and nervous
system, and it looks like your dog is being affected in these same areas.
Validate yourself for you have been dealing with this well and handling
a lot. Healing work on yourself and your pet will help to remove this
energy that does not belong to either of you.
2. Recently we remodeled our house and since then our cat stays away all
day and only comes home at night. This was not his normal behavior before
the remodel. Why is he doing this?
I see your cat sitting and watching the house. It looks like the house
represents his security, where he feels safe and wanted. While the house
was being remodeled it looks like he experienced feeling neglected, like
he was invisible. Even though you may have been giving him attention during
this time, this did not meet his security needs. This cat has a strong
sense of territory and gets its sense of grounding from the actual house
because it is the cat's territory. I see the combination of your presence
and being in the house is what he is looking for. It looks like when you
were giving him attention when the remodel was happening, he felt like
everything was wide open, like he was vulnerable. I see other animals
around and when the house wasn't available to him, he experienced living
in their territories. His experience would be like living in somebody
else's house where he couldn't fully relax. If it is possible for you,
a good way of handling this is spending time during the daytime with him
in the house, when there aren't a lot of other people and animals around.
For him, this will re-establish him as the king of his territory (the
house and your heart). Some consistent reinforcing of this will help him
a lot.
3. Ever since a branch fell on my house and broke a skylight, my dog jumps
at any sound and is very scared. Why is this happening?
It looks like when this happened, your dog was feeling very relaxed and
happy. He was home with you and all was well in his world. The crash of
the branch traumatized him because it was unexpected and shattered his
sense of well-being. This dog looks very sensitive. It looks like the
loud sound got imprinted in his body and his body was strongly conditioned
to react in the same way again when he hears loud noises. It looks like
he needs help on a physical level to help recondition his responses. If
you can do something that calms his body down when there are loud noises
around him, that will help his body let go of that fear response it is
having. Touch him, hold him, calm his body down but do something physical
that will break the cycle of fear that runs through him. Also communicating
to him that he is safe and that you will protect him will help.
