The Bay Area Pet Psychic
By Ann Savino
Welcome to our new animal communication column in the American Spirit Newspaper. We are providing this forum for those of you who may have questions and want some psychic insight into what's going on at the energy level with your pet. Health and behavioral issues can arise when there are blocks to the natural flow of an animal's energy. By clearing these blocks, the natural state of health can be restored. Also interesting to explore is the dynamics of your relationship with your pet. Our pets are some of the closest companions we have in our lives. Take this opportunity to ask for insight that can help improve the quality of your life with your pet. Send your questions to: Ann Savino, the Bay Area Pet Psychic, c/o the Spiritual Rights Foundation, Inc. • POB 14341, Berkeley, CA 94712, or email them to arcana@celestia.com. Dear Pet Psychic
I had a reading once and the person said that my cat came to me to heal me. Do you see that is why she is here with me now? And when my cat first arrived she was in terrible shape and I fed her good food and then I had to leave her for two weeks. I left her with the person she used to live with before she came to me. Ever since then, she has always had some type of illness. She would either get bumps on her ears and body or she would throw-up. Are these symptoms of her’s caused by my energy or is it her energy or both? I’ve had many vet visits and they feel she is allergic to most food and I am finding she is also allergic to being outside... I think because she throws-up and makes these horrible noises of pain and howling. Every time she goes outside the next day she is dying to go out again. I don’t let her because she seems to feel and look sicker each time she goes out. I know she loves to be outside but I can’t seem to find out why she gets sick from being outside. Could you shed some light as to what is the causes her to be ill after going outside?

Dear Seeking
The first thing I see around yourself and your cat is that you are very similar in temperament. You both look extremely sensitive and it looks like both of your nervous systems can get “high strung” when you are stressed. I see your cat came to you because you are sensitive and offered her a calmer home than her previous home. It looks like you are much more tuned into her and her needs than her previous owner. Your cat looks like she feels safe being with you because she knows you notice her needs and the subtleties of what’s going on with her. She also looks like she needs to be with someone who is calm and sensitive, for she is the same way.
Your cat also looks like she likes routine. Changes really throw off her nervous system as she is so sensitive. I see the energy imbalance in her system centered around the stomach area but her stomach is being affected by nerves or stress. It does look like she has some kind of food allergy as her stomach and digestion look so sensitive.
In terms of her experiences of going outside and getting sick, I see a similar pattern of having an acutely sensitive auto immune system. I see a picture of painted walls, earth and grass as being the source behind her getting sick when she goes outside. Maybe there are chemicals in the dirt or on grass she eats. I keep also getting the picture of paint on the walls as being something she is reacting to when she is outside. Your cat looks like she loves and depends greatly on you and you make her feel secure. Working on her grounding, and also you getting yourself grounded would help her nervous system stay calmer. As you are both sensitives, grounding your bodies would help you both. You can learn this technique in our beginning six-week classes. You can also learn this in the two-week “Animal Telepathy” workshop.
Dear Pet Psychic
My cat does not use the litter box. He supposedly had megacolon and for awhile they told me I had to give him enemas so that he would have a bowel movement. Luckily, I got him on a natural (raw) diet and that straightened him out so I didn’t have to continue with the enemas. Now a year or two later, he refuses to use his litter box, although once in awhile he will use it. What I am wondering is can I get him to use it again or is it okay for him to have to hold his bathroom waste until I let him out in the morning? Just wondered, as he seems to be okay, but I didn’t think it was a good idea for him to hold it.
Thanks so much,
A loving cat mother
Dear Loving Cat Mother
I am not seeing that holding his waste is a major bad thing for him. It looks like this part of his body is doing well but it is an area susceptible to things happening. It would be better if he could go when he needed to, but I am not seeing it is harmful to him either. It looks like it is conditioning the muscles in the intestines to not be as active by him holding it overnight and since this area has this tendency any way, it is not the best habit for him. But again, I do not see it being a major negative in his life. If it is possible for him to go before bed, it looks like that would be better. This area looks healthy right now and he looks like he is enjoying his independence and health.
