The Child Within

A few months ago I kept having this recurring dream. The dream was of this little girl who was about seven years old. She had a dirty dress on and her body was dirty even her hair looked all sticky and stuck together. Where I saw her in the dream was underground like in a subway tunnel. The main thing that I really remember and felt from the dreams were the sadness and loneliness of the child. As time passed I had forgotten the dreams.

The other day I had an incredible experience in hypnotherapy. I had been wanting to look at the issue around weight and release some of the old energies that mighthave had me holding on to it.

As the facilitator guided me to all these places I felt myself go deeper and deeper. After awhile I was told that all the reasons that had me holding on to body weight were being revealed to me.

I saw this little girl, the one in my dreams she was standing there in my mind, I reached out for her in my mind and she cried and tears ran down the face of my body with no emotion whatsoever. The more I embraced her the cleaner and happier she got. Her face was bright, her dress was clean, it felt so good.

When I reflected afterwards I saw on a deep level I was protecting this little child who was me in the form of weight. Realizations are still being revealed to me which are very healing.
