Altering Consciousness For The Better
By Rev. William H. Duby
I have
been working with people who love to experience their inborn power to
alter consciousness and return to their inner child. The positive testimonies
from the grateful to be alive are plentiful.
The more
people get into their psychic space the better they feel about themselves
because their life force is becoming healed for their well being.
There
are mainly two distinct ways to look at things in this three dimensional
world of duality; namely, the way it is meant to be and the way it isn't.
The first way is reality while the second is fantasy. More people than
not live in fantasy because they refuse to grow up and mature psychologically
for fulfillment. Such people are reactive, rather than actively using
their mind to keep them well. These people are in a negative trance
state with little hope of breaking free of the spell bound stupor unless
something drastically happens where they snap out of it.
I read
in a book (don't remember when) that nearly everyone can be hypnotized.
I was amused while recognizing I was aggravated by the author's hypothesis.
The author was offering nothing more than an unproven theory. The truth
of the matter speaks differently than what he wrote. People are already
hypnotized, walking around dead asleep as to who they are and what in
hell they are doing. Certain things are self evident, such as the inalienable
rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
It is
also self evident that you cannot hypnotize people that are already
hypnotized anymore than you can awaken someone who is already awake.
The author
failed to equate the concepts of the "human condition" and
"hypnotic slumber" with "sin complex." There are
semantic differences but that is about all. Just as a rose is a rose
that is a rose - concepts are concepts regardless of what words we use
to describe them.
It was
the belief of the author that a large percentage of the population could
be hypnotized. He went on to say that few couldn't be hypnotized. I
argue with his hypothesis because my deductive reasoning offers an insight
worth mentioning for the purpose of agreeing with common sense.
If life
begins at 40, as they say, then we must awaken to something that we
were previously asleep to. What could that be other than someone else
was living their life though us and we were asleep to it. For example,
mother always wanted us to be a doctor, but we always wanted to be a
fireman. At forty, or thereabouts, we could go through a change of life
and discover that we are an unhappy doctor and the remedy for unhappiness
is to become a happy fireman. So like a lot of other people that had
to face reality, we must let go of what we were expected to be and become
ourselves, doing what we love to do because it exceeds expectations
and calms our nervous system for well being.
All have
heard of the human condition. Conditioning someone is programming them
against their well being. It is leading them astray - brain washing.
The State educates by diddling the mind of the student into memorizing
the information presented by the teachers, and later they are examined
to see if the information has been stored in their memory. If it has,
they are considered intelligent, and a good student, when in truth they
are quite stupid and have been put into a stupor by the teacher (hypnotist)
presenting information that will become tomorrow's subconscious urges
to rebel against the truth of what they know to be common sense. It
is twisting the mind and suffering the young people from coming into
their own, plain and simple. In other words, it is "man's inhumanity
unto man."
As far
as I am concerned the entire upbringing of the child is nothing more
than a conditioning (indoctrination) process so that he will become
a hypnotic subject for certain people within society. When they say
a child has become conscious they are saying he is awake. Nothing is
further from the truth. He isn't awake, he is in a hypnotic sleep -
he's lost contact with his own information where he knows better. He
was awake before he fell asleep due to the peer pressure. He was put
to sleep by those he's taught to trust and they were asleep themselves
but didn't know it, and without knowing it he now is what he was taught
to be by his teachers. Again, as time progresses, he falls into a deeper
and deeper stupor and remains stupid in the traditions of men that void
the word of God that tells him he was created in the Image and Likeness
of God; namely, A Divine Perfect Spiritual Being that is free to do
his own thinking.
I come
from the school of thought that is diametrically opposed to the direction
of thinking that says you are lacking something other than your awareness
to know better. And, even then, I don't believe that you are lacking
awareness. You are simply asleep to it until you hear from a voice such
as mine that was born to awaken you.
Once we
awaken from the slumber of ignorance that has kept us sleeping in the
foolish traditions of men, a rebirth takes place in our awareness and
we are transformed in the twinkling of an eye.
I have
been teaching the folks at the Academy For Psychic Studies to use the
same hypnotic principles that put them into a stupor for the awakening
of their well being. It's called the healing of similarities. Many have
done it without effort or strain and share their joyous testimonies
with others for purposes of inspiration. Each day and every night they
are learning how to transmute the past - by remaining in the present
- so they can look forward to the future, knowing very well that it
will be better than they can even imagine. In other words, they are
awakening to their own innate power of discernment.
Entering
into your psychic space (within yourself) is going home. Once you are
there you are in heaven because you reside in the heartland of your
soul memory where you are aware of being aware that God is the living
love life of yourself embodied for well being. I strongly recommend
the experience for one and for all. After all, it is a calling, an offering
that no one in their right mind dares to refuse because it is spiritual
arrogance to do so. It is sufficient to say, the door is open to higher
consciousness. It is just a matter of arising in that consciousness
and we'll be uplifted because we have chosen the upright path of doing
it to dispel the myth rather than pondering upon it and upholding the
lie.
