   I began this article with the above title on purpose. So many people are believing that the tithing laws which are biblically recorded are nothing but a hustle. Simply put, certain people like myself (ministers) can use them to hustle the people out of their money. I'd like to focus this article on facing the issue of tithing. In fact, it is my duty as an ordained minister to do so. I must report the truth the best that I can for the betterment of all concerned. In other words, to win favor with not only the Supreme Authority of Almighty God, but with my fellow human beings as well. So bear with me as I do my utmost in attempting to do that good deed.

    I warn you from the onset that I intend to work on your mind in order to  get down to the heart of the matter about tithing. So, if you are not a believer when it comes to tithing, here is your chance to escape the issue by reading no further.

    The first thing about tithing that people must come to see, is that according to biblical record - TITHING IS LAW. To be exact - SPIRITUAL LAW. The Supreme Being has seen fit to put this law into effect as His love for His Humanity to follow faithfully for the express purpose of them becoming prosperous. So prosperous, that they may begin to enjoy the abundant lifestyle beginning on earth, and beyond into the here-after.

    The second thing about tithing which people must come to see, is that according to biblical record, THE TITHE BELONGS TO GOD. The recognition of this truth immediately puts to rest the argument whether anyone is being hustled out of their money. The tithe belongs exclusively unto God. The tithe is at least 10% of ALL (not some) of their GROSS (not Net) income. And income is defined as to mean anything which is considered valuable.
The third thing about tithing which people must come to see is that according to biblical record - THE TITHE IS TO BE DELIVERED UNTO THE PLACE AND/OR PERSON WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TEACHING THE LAW OF TITHING! This is to be DONE regardless of how you feel about the personality of the person and/or how you feel about the place. The tither is simply following the spiritual law. Doing what is the right thing to do for the upright reason of being honest to God for the pleasure of God.

    The fourth thing about tithing which people must come to see is that according to  biblical record - THE TITHING LAW ONLY APPLIES TO WHAT IS COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS 'BELIEVERS'. These are the seekers of truth which fervently desire to be close to God by being principled to be being obedient by the exercise of spiritual law. It is obvious that the tithing law IS NOT THE BUSINESS of ANYONE but the individual who is tithing, and God Himself. It is private business and is to be done in secret. In other words, DON'T LET THE LEFT HAND KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT HAND IS DOING. Tithing is not to be done for show, but for principle.

    Now that I have laid the foundation of tithing may I say the following. I do not desire that ANYONE tithe to myself and/or this place if they have any reservations as to why they are doing so. Please do not tithe because you think you are doing myself or this place a favor. That's not the upright thing to do. In fact, you are only hurting yourself. The only reason to tithe is because you have come to believe in doing what the bible states as spiritual law. If that is your heartfelt conviction then please do so because you know in your heart that you have been taught the proper way of doing the tithing.

    It is always best to give according to the spiritual principles of the Bible. By doing so you will have laid up your treasures in heaven by the exercise of your faith. Keep your tithing between yourself and the God of your heart. Do not be so foolish as to make a show of your tithing. This is not helping you or anyone else. In fact, doing do is mockery. It gives the religiosity of the sacred practice a bad name.

    Realize, right now, once you tithe - let go. It is no longer your business or responsibility to monitor the tithe. You've done your duty. If you can't keep your nose out of the business of the place or person where you put the tithe, then it is best that you do not tithe. You aren't able to mind your own business. In truth, unless you give without strings, you are not a "Believer". I guess I am saying that it is best if you do not tithe because you are not being led to do so by the Holy Spirit (God). For if you were, you'd be doing so out of the love to do so, not because of the fear not to do so. Remember! "God loves a hilarious giver". So please don't tithe just to gain attention, to show off, to prove something, to receive something, etc. Again, this is giving this sacred practice a bad name.
There's another thing I'd like to mention about tithing. There is stern warning in the Bible (Malachi) to all preachers who do not take the time to tell the people about tithing. God is not stupid. He knows that the only invention of man is money. All else has been given unto man by God. Man uses money to control the welfare of man. In fact, the love of money is the root cause of every evil man is involved with on earth. The preachers are being admonished by God (Lord of Host) that they have been robbing God of tithes and offerings because they are not collecting the tithes and offerings.

    See! Anyone with an ounce of sense knows for certain that need is the art of invention. The Supreme Being is wise. He uses the spiritual law of tithing to prosper His people. Of course, they must "give up" the tithe with the right attitude of doing the right thing for the upright reason before it will work. Everyone who has ever failed themselves miserably has done so by spending the tithe of God. Believers, true believers, are not so stupid as to ever spend the tithe of God. They realize from within themselves, that they cannot endure karmic debt of forever being an idiot.
Many people give with the intent to get. This is being a taker! Tithing is not for taking from God but Giving unto God. Not that God has need of us to give unto Him. God has no needs. The giving of the tithe is the symbol for showing respect and for the demonstration of your love for God. The attitude in tithing is all important. In fact, tithing lets you know if you possess the Money or if the money possesses you. It is the business between you and God.

    One must give with the desire to give for the sake of giving. Where most people outsmart themselves is that they intuitively realize, or intellectually deduce that the tithing plan of God is to prosper people beyond belief. So they go ahead and do it with the expectation to receive and then get mad when they lose more as a result of tithing. Some get so mad that they begin to hate God, His Glory, and His people. And since they can't take it out on God, they begin to try to take it out on the people which are closest to the heart of God; namely, the very person and/or place in which they placed the tithe. All because they fooled themselves into believing that they could tithe with the intent to get. So, I'm telling you ahead of time - not to tithe to get. Simply tithe because you and the God of your heart have had a meeting of the mind and you've come to a heart felt conclusion on the subject. I guess I am saying - you are convicted!


    I've said all that I need to say at this time. I hope I've helped you blow some 'perfect pictures' about tithing. Personally, I'm doing my best to ward off any potential trouble which a trouble maker could dream up. There is no use in desecrating a sacred practice such as tithing. If we will all play by the rules - life could be fun. Then again, until we practice, we won't know for certain, will we?

    One thing about tithing is for sure. Tithing will help you blow your money pictures or  remain broke! Have a good day. In fact, have a good life by allowing the God of your heart to prosper you beyond belief!
