Taking
A Look At Giving
By
Roseanna Gurst
Why is giving
so important? What is it about the vibration of love that has such a positive
effect on us? In the Bible we are told to love our neighbor as our self
and to be our brothers keeper. We constantly hear sayings such as,
Shalom or Peace be with you, and even the word
Hello means stay happy and all whole. What do all these have
in common? They are all ways of giving or demonstrating love for another.
In todays world we see so little of genuine giving and loving, yet
we need it more today than ever. The world today is in chaos. People are
being persecuted all over the world for various issues, be it their sex,
sexual preference or political or religious beliefs. With the world the
way it is we need to be giving and loving more than ever, yet we seem
to have become anesthetized instead and negativity abounds.
Love is a very powerful healing vibration that can neutralize negativity
in an instant.
Love leaves one to experience being happy, healthy, wealthy and whole
in body mind and soul. In the past, it has been a concept left to religion,
metaphysics and spirituality. Recently, however, the scientific community
has acknowledged the healing power of the vibration of love. Doctors and
other healing professionals, more than ever, are embracing the idea that
holding loving ideas, thoughts and feelings in mind actually utilize a
certain part of the brain that corresponds with positive behavior, and
that this, in turn, releases chemicals that promote health and happiness
in ones life. The further consequences of health and happiness for
the individual include the promotion of better communities and, in the
long run, a better world for us all. More
