    Have you ever watched a lily? It grows towards the light, yearning only to be drenched in the sun's nurturing rays. When the light shines upon it, its petals open, and sweet perfume fills the air; all with ease and no effort.

    Solomon was King of Israel; representing wisdom. He was profusely wealthy and could have anything money could buy. Yet Jesus is saying even mighty Solomon was not adorned like the lily.

    Light represents truth. Lilies are flowers that yield and open when truth is revealed, simply and easily.

    Lately I have been wondering, "What was I so afraid of?" when it came to accepting the truth. My experience with "trance" as of late has been to see exactly what I have inherited in this physical body. Everything, from why I eat the way I do, to why I have particular sexual thoughts and preferences as I do.

    The key of it all, has been to realize that "I" am not any of it anyway. I am simply peeking into the cache of energy housed within the DNA of the cells of my body. Sounds pretty intellectual, doesn't it? Jesus referred to this stuff as the "sins of the father." More simply put -- spirits and energy.

    I never knew "uncovering" could be so interesting and so much fun. So many issues about myself and my life have been answered, I can now make sense of things. The joy is in knowing I am simply the observer. I am spirit. I chose to adopt this body and decode what it has inherited. When I start "thinking" I'm all the stuff is when I start judging or condemning myself. Yet even then, trance is my centering tool to rise above it all again.

    There is no struggling to be right. No fighting to be accepted and approved of by others. As they say --  "been there, done that!" Just a quiet appreciation for what has been given to me. Sure, the truth still burns at times, but the pleasure of knowing and accepting far exceeds anything else I know.

    So the next time you see a lily, watch it...and learn!Ê
