The ccccc,Always Was, Always Will BeBy William H. DubyThere comes a time in the life of everyone when the need to vent the spleen becomes vital for them. Such a time has arrived for me. Spiritually speaking, we call such a time "a growth period." A positive experience for the resident soul personage and an uncomfortable time for the body personality because it's undergoing a change in perspective, hopefully a more wholesome one. It is a great time for avid readers because the moment of truth has arrived for the writer. And the readers will get an inside view of the personality of the writer as he crafts the words and commits them to writing. People who are kindred in spirit with the author of such material adore the clairvoyant revelation, while others hiding from the light of the truth are put off by the presented material. It is understandable why they feel the way they do. Living in self denial is the same as living in the dark. You see what you think is there, rather than seeing the way it happens to be for Christ sake. You project onto others to be the way you ought to be. When your mind is in the dark you can hide from your feelings because you are serious. And when you are out in the open, living in the light of the truth, your feelings radiate from your face like the sunshine from the sunlight; simply because you are amused by it all. I write my thoughts down to see because it is a therapy I greatly enjoy. It is a taking time with myself, a meditation period. My mind opens itself to me and I see where I failed to see until I put into written form what my thoughts were thinking to look. Writing offers me a space to help myself think clearly. A safety valve, so to speak. It prevents me from going too far to the left or right of center. I write primarily for me and secondarily for those truly sensitive people with a keen interest in such work. I invoke the power of the U.S. Constitution when I speak, else people like me would be bound to keep our mouth shut and let be what shouldn't be. Without the freedom of speech the ways and means of awakening the masses would be impossible. Yet, awakening is our destiny. Right now, I am in the process of awakening me, rising to a new level of awareness and only God knows what my writing may do for others. Sooner or later, we are all going to awaken. Some sooner and some later, but it is inevitable that all must awaken or perish. I am an American. I am proud to be one. And the older I get the more I realize the truth of what Thomas Jefferson meant when he wrote, "God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion." Understand clearly, I do not advocate the overthrow of the government by might. However, if the plight of reason has its day, the sunlight of a new tomorrow will begin to arise like the morning dawn upon the minds of the people and what is right will have the light for all to see what needs to be done for a better world in which our children might live and experience their well being. Being forewarned is being forearmed. Every government in every land intends to keep itself intact at the risk of the people losing their health and wealth. Only those without common sense would think otherwise. Being vigilant is being aware, aware of being aware. More often than not, the consciousness of mankind is lacking the insight necessary to hold each other in high esteem. Although we are admonished by Holy Writ that we are our brothers keepers, we tend to keep each other in bondage of one kind or another. Therefore, revolution often becomes a necessary reality because freedom is the essence of life. Where would America be today without the Boston Tea Party? Where would America be without the Civil war? Where would America be without the Viet Nam Conflict? We can't honestly say it would be a better place without these events. Yes, people died! People die daily. People die in every way and every day. And, yes, we all miss our loved ones. Then again, without our loved ones fighting for our freedom we wouldn't have it. Man may have been endowed by his Creator with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness but it doesn't mean that his neighbor can let him enjoy it. It isn't so much what kills you that counts. War and disease are both a living hell that we all would love to stamp out. But since mankind believes in both, and it seems to be the evil of this worship, we might as well face reality and realize that what we live for is the most important thing. What is that special something that gets you up everyday and keeps you moving forward towards the goal of being a better person in spite of what you think about yourself? Whatever it is, its worth living for. I call it Spirit. Its not such a bad thing, that if you have to die, that when your time comes, you do it behind one of three sacred loves: Love for your God, love for your country, or love for your fellow man. Any one or more of the three is worth living for, and worth dying for. Being kept in the dark is a thing of the past. We live in the information age now. Choosing a president in a smoke filled room is over. It isn't politically correct now. That's old hat, unac-ceptable these days. One must be more subtle. One must be sophisticated enough to tell the people what they want to hear and sell them on the lie while making it look like the truth. As the public we must be on the ball. Being lazy minded will not do. We must empower ourselves and each other to discern the truth from the lie. There is no other way except to be informed by the quickest means. News travels these days in "bits and bytes", just as fast as lightning flashing across the midnight sky. The days of not knowing what is going on are gone. We can't live by thinking the Czar, King, Pope, Indian Chief or President will give us the good life. Our parents did that sort of thing and look at what happened to the world in which we live. We can't afford to think that corporations will retire us. It is time to grow up and face the music. We are all going to pay the price of the fiddler. And, it is about time! No matter what it takes the time has come to awaken. Time to recognize that we are sovereign citizens of the divine providence. That we are all in an earthly schoolhouse. That we have embodied upon a planet for slow learners. And in many cases, we are retarded beyond belief. We just don't get it! In reality it is time to grow up, time to get over it. Time to quit seeking sympathy and begin the growing process of exercising compassion. If we don't, who will? We are all in the same place, at the same time for the same reason. To get real where it counts, with ourselves. We haven't the time to let the other guy do it. What if he doesn't? We live in a fast-paced, information packed, electronic age where the transformation of data is done in nanoseconds. Most people are so saturated with input of one kind or another, they have what I call psychic indigestion. It is literally impossible to make sense of what you are exposed to in one sitting at the computer. The mind often goes on tilt. Our brain was not designed to be a microchip. You have to go off line to digest it. And even then we seldom do. I have an off-line folder with hundreds of interesting items of information to read. Time has not afforded the opportunity because necessity and meeting deadlines have priority. We barely have time to go home and unwind before it is time to go back to work. Many can't take the time to get to know themselves. It takes two pay checks to do what one pay check used to do. Mom and dad take turns dropping the kids off at day care, drive each other to work and drive back again to pick up the kids only to find that they are too exhausted to play with their little ones when they get home. And we wonder why each is becoming a stranger in their own house. When two have to get up and run outside the home to pay the mortgage, day care and service a credit card debt asking for twenty per cent interest, you've got a never-ending problem. You can't win! There has to be a better way. This way is making everyone go crazy to keep their head above the water. And it is inevitable that they are going to drown in the sorrow of being miserable. We are getting nowhere fast. We are like a rat caught in a wheel chasing the cheese we will never get, even though we are expending vital energy to do the impossible. When you hope against hope you are hopeless! We must get together because all we truly have is each other. Everyone else has died and left us a legacy that we dare not uphold else we shall lose our soul awareness and be left with the thought that what is happening is the norm. It isn't supposed to be this way. Common sense speaks loud and clear in the silence of our soul nature. What we are lacking is a government for the people, by the people and unto the people, plain and simple! Now the real question is, how do we go about getting it without starting another civil war? If you can tell me that I'll vote for you! You can hear Rev. Bill on Tuesday at
