Fall
has arrived and you may be experiencing having less energy
to do your normal daily tasks and that is really ok! Look
around you, the growth of all vegetation has slowed down
too!
Time for reflection. Fall is giving us an opportunity to
slow down. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and so
is Christmas. Panic? No! This is an opportunity to learn
to give to ourselves and most of all to others around us.
Take
a few deep breaths in and reflect a bit on the state
of your giving. Do you give to your family, friends, work
or your church? Do you give out of a sense of obligation
or what you might receive in return? Do you give just to
look good in the eyes of your community? Maybe you feel
as though you have no time to give because you are giving
enough already.
We
give for so many different reasons. If you are in this first
category you may have lost the spirit of giving and as a
result you may experience effort, boredom, strife,or anger
when things are not working out the way you had expected.
Expecting a return on your giving is not giving. But
how do we learn to give without strings attached?
If
you are around children just watch how they give all the
time and are very spontaneous. Children are flowing all
the time, always having an abundance of bright ideas. They
are cheerful most of the time, unless around grouchy grown-ups,
in short they know how to have a fun time!
Remember
a time as a child when maybe you saw something beautiful
in nature, perhaps a rose and you decided to pick it because
you wanted to give something to your mom, dad or sister?
You responded in the moment. Do you remember the joy that
went through you?
You
can get in touch again with the spirit of giving that is
in you. Again this time of year is the perfect time to begin
to review and to let go of the attitudes inside that can
rob you of joy and allow you to get to serious about life.
The
Spiritual Rights Foundation has a variety of prosperity
classes that will allow you to release energies that don't
allow that cheerful inner giver to come out and play!
