The Magic Is You

Everything we do is driven by the wounds of our past. I'm screaming on this paper and writing out my truth. I'm learning to express my fire and shoot it out the top of my head. There's no one left to blame, and I like it this way. I'm taking back my body, my life, my power, my ability to manifest, to stand up for myself. I can define and communicate my boundaries. You see I have been dead for so many years. I couldn't remember what it was like to be, to be you, to be me, to be anyone. To be alive and excited by life. I remember once reading something by Anais Nin. She wrote with such passion.

"I woke up this morning and spat out my heart."

I always loved that line. I think it's from A Spy in the House of Love. I identified so strongly with Anais she was an erotic dream come true for many women still hiding their secret forbidden fantasies in the darkest closets of their denial.

"Lets not talk about it, or feel our bodies, and maybe it will go away."

And so it did for many women, running from their primal instinct, their wild instinctual woman within. Within their mind of endless desires. What is it that makes many of us deny who we are as women, as spirit, as a joyful expression of art, an artistic being of light awaiting to unfold. I feel for many of us as women it is often a struggle to just get up and out of bed in the morning, let alone learn to stand up for ourselves, always asking someone else the answers to our own questions, not honoring the validity of our own highest self and information.

We as women need to start now to set an example for all women everywhere; young, old, white, black, asian, latina. Did you know that we are the color of all women when we cry in the dark of night, hoping for someone else to fulfill our need. Let me share this with you from my heart, a heart woven from many broken dreams and countless illusions. Believe this, if nothing else. There is no one to cling to, there is no one to save you, there is no one or thing to make the pain go away but you. You are the magic, you are the dream. The center of the universe lies within your ability to stand up for yourself today.
